My retail sentence began around 2001 before I was paroled in 2014. I remember I would wake up each day at 5:55am for my 6am shift. I’d arrive 15 minutes late, put on the garish green shirt that I NEVER washed, hang my head in despair and head to the shop floor. Good times.
